5 - Disciplinary skills.

 

During the preparation phase (for each theme) this project feeds the work of the participants in the different disciplines.

The actions themselves will be used to refine this preparatory work, then carry out the final project with specialized speakers: filming, editing, voices, sound effects, etc.

 

Mastery of the language: Expressing your ideas orally, and defending them.

Talk about his history, his memories. Invent, in small groups, stories around the chosen theme

 

The meeting of different identities

Based on real life experiences.

 

Together choose a title for each little story.

Translate the story into dialogues. Imagine the situations, the characters, approach the notion of scenario. Cut the scenario into sequences: images, dialogues, music… Creation of a storyboard. Present the created stories to the class and share them.

 

Mathematics: Prepare the journey of the C'ELISA projects: the distance to be covered, the time required, the countdown to departure, ...

Discover the notion of scale: work on the sets, the perspective, the depth.

Divide the scenario into sequences of actions and time. Science and technology:

Understand the principle of retinal persistence.

Study the origin of current cinema: thaumatrope, leaflet, ..

 

Make a rubber band thaumatrope and a flipbook to illustrate this principle. Prepare the decorations.

Handling audiovisual equipment: camera, camera, etc.

 

Visual arts: Viewing of the Lumière brothers' first “film”: the arrival of the train at La Ciotat station. Then various representative examples of the evolution of cinema. Draw the scenes for the short film.
