Commissions C'ELISA is a future collaborative web platform for audiovisual creators.

This associative project with a federative aim is carried by a team of volunteers from Strasbourg, all passionate about film and video creation.

Our ambition is to set up a common digital space and tool, designed by creators for creators, so that they can:

  1. - Develop their collaboration networks,

  2. - Highlight their creations

  3. - And move towards professionalization.

The platform  C'ELISA will be presented as a complete ecosystem for self-produced audiovisual creation, unfolding on two interconnected sides:

- A collaborative social network to connect and bring together creators around film projects;

- A dissemination space allowing to exhibit and promote each other's productions.

The user experience of the platform will thus meet three fundamental commitments:

- Networking of creators

- The provision of project management tools and online collaborative spaces

- The editorial promotion of films, via various quality labels awarded by partner cultural mediators and by users of the Platform.

All with the constant objective of promoting the sharing of experiences and the transmission of skills between users.

For who ?

The initiative is aimed at audiovisual creators from all walks of life, who wish to produce or participate in film projects in a primarily non-professional, but nonetheless professionalizing setting.

Whether you are a film student, a young technician in the process of professionalization, a professional eager for transmission or simply passionate about video, we have designed this project for you.

The short audiovisual form has always been the preferred training ground for professionals in the film and audiovisual industry.

The growing support of public authorities in the direction of web and self-produced creation also testifies to a new recognition of "infra-professional" practices, and to a growing porosity between professional and amateur spheres:

  • Creation of the device "  THIS ELISA  »In October 2007 for web videographers;

  • Launch in 2010 of pioneering support for HALIESFALCTÉS  the production of amateur films (“support for collaborative creative programs”);

  • Other initiatives to come? We have no doubts!

Despite everything, the amateur and professional worlds remain in very little contact.

  • Most professional networks today are very opaque and very centralized for certain people.

  • Integrating the environment is a challenge for many young contenders, even more so in the Regions.

  • What about amateur networks? They remain very unstructured and globally dispersed. If self-produced filmmakers have long had access to cameras, they still lack an interface in which to meet, organize, and share their experiences.

Collaborative web tools provide new opportunities for opening up networks and collective organization: An opportunity to be seized for the development of practices and professionalization!

On the distribution side, a large part of infra-professional creation is condemned to indifference in the algorithmic environment of large platforms. And the professional short film suffers from a significant deficit of visibility and esteem on the web.

The editorial technologies of the web offer the possibility of rethinking the methods of valuing short audiovisual forms: a means of preserving quality among quantity!
