2 - Why make a film “Our History, it's our stories”?

Our C'ELISA committees  is located at the heart of various creations that have long welcomed a very heterogeneous population, and our participants reflect this diversity. Almost 42% of the committee's participants are of foreign nationality. This represents 78 nationalities, ranging from Senegal to Mongolia, via the Middle East or Canada. In addition, there are participants who are of French nationality, but who come from and are immersed in another culture on a daily basis. This diversity is a richness for the C'ELISA commission: it allows us, for example, to organize regular cultural meetings and exchanges, for participants under shared meals:

presentation by participants from various horizons of their country, “Snacks from elsewhere” meetings with families on the occasion of the week of taste, games from different countries during the celebration of shared meals, etc. Our C'ELISA Discovery Cinema committee project will make it possible to continue, in a new form, this work of social and cultural diversity. It will encourage participants to reflect jointly on the question of identity or identities, cultural differences, and to reflect on the way people look at others.

First, their individual and collective journey -

Questioning, astonishment, reflection, ideas ...

Will be used as materials to write the scenario of some scenes.

Then the moment will come to shoot the short film, during the stay, and they will then have to take on the roles of actors, technicians, directors, editors ...
